The S6 Powered Subwoofer is one of Audioengine’s most compact low end solutions, built for listeners who want deeper bass without adding oversized equipment to their setup. The new finishes bring four distinct looks to the S6 lineup: Matte Red for a bold setup, Matte Green for a clean modern room, Walnut for real wood character, and Limoncello Yellow for a bright limited edition finish made to stand out.
Due to strong demand, Matte Black and Matte White are now permanent finishes in the S6 Powered Subwoofer collection. The S6 Powered Subwoofer features a sealed enclosure, a 6 inch long throw front firing woofer, and a Class D amplifier. It delivers 125W RMS rated power output, measured in compliance with 16 C.F.R. § 432.3, along with 210W total peak power output measured by AES standards.
Its sealed design helps produce tight, accurate bass, while the frequency response reaches 33Hz to 132Hz ±1.5dB. A continuously variable crossover from 40Hz to 130Hz allows listeners to fine tune the S6 Powered Subwoofer for their room and audio setup.
At 10 inches high, 8.7 inches wide, and 10 inches deep, the limited edition S6 Powered Subwoofer finishes are designed to fit into real rooms without demanding extra space. It can sit under a desk, near a bookshelf, beside a media console, or in a dedicated listening area while adding clean low end to music.
Built for Everyday Listening Setups
The limited edition S6 Powered Subwoofer finishes are designed to work in practical listening spaces. It includes 3.5 mm stereo mini-jack and RCA L/R inputs, 100 to 240 V AC 50/60 Hz auto-switching input voltage, greater than 100 dB typical A-weighted SNR, and less than 0.2% THD+N at all power settings.
The S6 Powered Subwoofer also includes 10K ohms unbalanced input impedance, 0 / 180 degree phase control, output current limiting, thermal over-temperature protection, and power on/off transient protection. Standby consumption is less than 1W.
